Celebrate Latin American Contributions to Film at the Festival De Cine Latino Americano

This September, a brand new film festival comes to Fort Worth: the Festival De Cine Latino Americano. From September 22nd to 25th, a band of local producers, film scholars, and actors show off what they've been working diligently to create over the past months. The festival celebrates the accomplishments of the Latin American community in film, so expect to see movies by local and international filmmakers.

The first Festival De Cine Latino Americano is slated to showcase dozens of masterpieces, some created right in Texas and others from as far away as South America. They range from poignant short films to longer documentaries, so there's something for everyone to enjoy. Each film is judged by a professional panel and put in the running to win an award at the end of the festival, so stick around to see who takes home trophies on Sunday night, the final evening of the Festival De Cine Latino Americano.
